Emotional Support Animal Initial
An emotional support animal provides therapeutic benefits to people with psychiatric disabilities. An ESA is not a service animal, and under the law of the United States, it is not considered a pet. In addition, an ESA is not restricted by the type of animal, and it can be any domesticated animal such as cats, dogs, and rabbits

Psychiatric Service Dogs are service dogs that specifically help with psychological conditions, including mental health disorders and conditions that impact functioning such as stress and anxiety.
